Welcoming new students
We’re breaking records this year, with up to 15,000 students expected to arrive from 10th September – and we can all help give them the best possible start to their time at King’s.
Something as small as directing a lost student to their classroom can really make a difference.
Students will be arriving on campus to collect their ID cards, complete enrolment, attend their programme/department inductions, socialise, and take part in Welcome events - so do keep an eye out for them.
If any students ask you questions related to Welcome to King’s, please ask them to email firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Early enrolment: 10 – 14 September
- International Orientation: 13 – 14 September
- Welcome Week: 17 – 21 September
- Start of term: Monday 24 September
How do we communicate with students?
We’re using several different channels to communicate with new students from 16th August:
- Welcome to King’s app
- Welcome to King’s emails
- King’s Insider Magazine – Welcome edition
- Welcome webpages
- Social media - @kclstudent
Further information on this year’s activities can be found on the Welcome to King’s webpages and on the Welcome to King’s – Getting Started app.
The app is the easiest way to see what’s happening over the Welcome period, and can be downloaded by searching ‘Welcome to King’s on your app store.
You can also explore a web version of the Get Started at King’s Guide.
We really appreciate your help. Let’s make this the best Welcome Week yet!
